Day 1 CASABLANCA – Meknes - Fes:

Your driver/guide will meet you at your hotel or at airport in Casablanca, then, drive for a short tour of Casablanca, a crowded metropolis of Morocco and a place of strong contrasts, here we will visit the most significant monuments, in particular the central market, the Habous district, the Royal Palace, square Mohammed V, the residential Anfa area and the Hassan II Mosque (exterior), the largest mosque in Morocco. Then we leave for Rabat, an elegant capital located on the Atlantic coast. Once in Rabat, we will explore the most significant monuments of the city, in particular the exterior of the Royal Palace, the Hassan Tour, the Mohammed V Mausoleum and the Kasbah of the Oudaya, a fortress strategically located on the ocean. Stop for lunch in a local restaurant, and then, continue towards Meknes, the third imperial city surrounded by kilometers of imposing walls. In Meknes, we will discover the main highlights including the beautifully decorated Bab Mansour Gate, the water cistern, the mausoleum and the mosque of Moulay Ismail the ancient ruler of the city, as well as, the Jewish quarter. Then we continue to Moulay Idriss and Volubilis, an ancient Roman city, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Finally we will arrive in Fes where we will spend the night in Riad at the medina, half board accommodation.

Day 2 : Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga Desert Dunes:

After breakfast at your Riad, we will start a new explorative journey towards the desert, our first stop will be in Ifran, known as the Switzerland of Morocco, because of its beautiful green landscapes and a winter ski station, after Ifran, we will continue to the cedar forest of Azrou where we stop to meet the wild Barbary monkeys, climbing the cedar trees. Afterwards, our journey continues to the city of Midelt through the changing sceneries and beautiful landscapes of the middle atlas mountains. The city of Midelt is considered as the commercial center and the capital of apple and carpets, due to the quantity of carpets that it commercializes. After lunch (not included) in Midelte, we will head south towards the desert, corssing the ZIZ Valley enjoy its great canyons and gorges. Continue south then, to reach the village of Erfoud, an old meeting between caravan routes. Later, we will arrive in the Desert Dunes of where will spend night in desert camp.

Day 3 Merzouga Desert Tour - Tour of Erg Chebbi and Visit to a Berber Family:

A full day dedicated to explore the secret and beauty of the desert, we will discover of the region of Merzouga, I including; the natural fossils mines, the village of Tissrdmin, where many films were shot, the black desert with its volcanic stones and the visit to a nomad family. Our journey will continue with a visit the village of Khamlia, famous for its inhabitants from Black Africa and for their music gnawa. Returning to Merzouga you can enjoy the peace of the desert in the hotel on the edge of the dunes, where you can enjoy a moments of relaxing while enjoying a fresh mint tea, then, you will start a new adventure tour strolling the Erg Chebbi dunes by camels to enjoy a lifetime sunset over the golden sand dunes and spend a memorable night under nomadic tent in a desert camp. Overnight in desert camp in HB.

Day 4 Merzouga Desert dunes – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Gorge :

Breakfast in the hotel, then, we will leave the desert towards the Dades valley. Crossing the palm oasis and grove of Rissani, the old meeting point of Caravans, famous by its huge markets, where the merchants from sub-Sahara and other coming from the west meet to exchanged goods and staff for money or other goods. Continue to reach Tinghir, where, we will visit the spectacular Todra Gorge, admiring its high vertical walls give life to a unique landscape, continuation towards the Dades Gorges, and the valley of 1000 kasbahs to discover a unique sceneries, where the green of the vegetation and the ocher-colored rock are the protagonists, overnight in Riad of KAsbah with half board.

Day 5 Dades Gorge - Roses valley - kasbah Amridil – Ouarzazate – Kasbah ait ben haddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

Breakfast at your accommodation, then, start a new explorative journey towards the Red City Marrakech,  we will drive again through the road of thousand kasbah, In this route you will see how the landscape as you go through it is changing little by little, going from green valleys to red ocher zones. We will stop in rose’s valley, a town known for cultivating a unique species of rose with extraordinary fragrance. Here we make a stop to take pictures, have a drink or whatever you want. And then, drive south of the High Atlas, admiring some citadels built with crude earth (Mud) together with its walled towers and ornaments with geometric motifs. These berber heritage art and  monuments are unique in the world;  located in a junction between the desert and the mountain, where the landscape is full of contrast between red and ocher colors, great luminosity and silence. Then we continued to reach the kasbah amridil. (The beautiful Kasbah Amridil lies in the Skoura oasis, inside a beautiful palm tree near the riverbed. Perfectly preserved and restored is perhaps the first Kasbah you should visit. There are numerous artifacts used in it when it was still inhabited). After the visit, we will head towards a fortified village, the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, one of the most amazing and well-preserved fortified cities in all of North Africa. The beauty of this place has attracted numerous film productions over the years. Lunch in this place, then we continued our trip crossing the high Atlas Mountains till we reach Marrakech, where our tour ends.
