Day 4 Marrakech Guided Tour

We will dedicate today to a guided tour of Marrakech - the ‘Pearl of the South’. Maybe due to its snake- charmer, story- teller and local music bands filled Djemaa El Fna square, the constant flow of show biz celebrities owning properties here, its massive foreign resident’s community or its geographical location, Marrakech is much more famous than its counterpart Fes. One thing is sure: no other Moroccan city boasts such a demographic diversity: Arabs, Europeans and Berbers have always blended with the Touareg populations north of Sahara and the Black Africans whose ancestors worked at the court of the Sultan in a city always known for being a passage point for caravans coming through its gates from the four corners of Africa. The streets of its Medina can prove hard to navigate and the street sellers can sometimes be intimidating therefore we recommend asking your guide to take you through the maze Medina. Marrakesh tour Highlights includes: Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, the Majorelle Gardens. Overnight and Dinner in Riad.

We will stop in rose’s valley a town known for cultivating a unique species of rose with extraordinary fragrance. Here we make a stop to take pictures, have a drink or whatever you want. The route of the Kasbahs, in the south of the High Atlas, is a tour of some citadels built with crude earth (Mud) together with its walled towers and ornaments with geometric motifs. You should know that these Berber art monuments are unique in the world. They are located in a junction between the desert and the mountain, where the landscape is full of contrast between red and ocher colors, great luminosity and silence. Then we continued towards the Dades Gorges that we will climb for a few kilometers to discover unique sceneries, where the green of the vegetation and the ocher-colored rock are the protagonists.
