Day Trip Marrakech Private Day trip to Essaouira

The Private day trip to Essaouira from Marrakech starts with a pick up from your Accommodation at 8AM. We will leave Marrakech and drive through lush valleys filled with orange trees, ancient olive trees and farms in activity.
Continue driving towards Essaouira Mogador, our first stop at argan forest to take a photos of the goats climbing the argan trees. Then, we will continue to visit a copperative running by local women to watch the different steps of extracting the argan oil, particularly appreciated for its nutritional and medicinal qualities. Its use is more and more widespread both in the food and cosmetics industry. This species, which comes from the Tertiary era, has adapted extremely well to the drought and the difficult environmental conditions of southwestern Morocco. Today threatened, it is under the protection of UNESCO.
Upon arrival in Essaouira, you will explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site. Discover the ramparts of Essaouira of the sixteenth century, enjoying incredible views of the waves of the Atlantic Ocean.
Follow your guide (optional) or just walk yourself to discover the most important monuments of Essaouira, such as the old fish market and the harbor. Watch silversmiths and woodcarvers at work in the old medina, where heavy wooden doors and white houses line the maze of streets.
Don’t not miss a delicious fresh fish at one of the city's restaurants, and a camel ride on the beach.
Return to Marrakech at the end of the afternoon.
