Day 1:
Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga
After breakfast in Fes, we set off on an exciting adventure through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Our first stop is Ifrane, a charming town known as “Little Switzerland” due to its European-style architecture and beautiful surroundings. Take some time to stroll around and capture photos of the scenic landscape.
Next, we continue to Azrou, where we’ll visit the cedar forests that are home to the Barbary apes. You can enjoy a peaceful walk in the forest and take some memorable pictures with the playful apes.
We then drive through the stunning Ziz Valley, offering picturesque views of lush palm groves and dramatic desert landscapes. Afterward, we stop at Erfoud, renowned for its fossil-rich region, before continuing our journey to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert.
Upon arrival in Merzouga, you will embark on a camel trek to a traditional desert camp in the Erg Chebbi dunes. As you ride across the dunes, you’ll witness the spectacular desert sunset, an unforgettable experience. Once at the camp, enjoy a delicious traditional Moroccan dinner under the starry desert sky and spend the night in a desert camp.

Day 2:
Merzouga – Rissani – Camel Trek – Merzouga
Overnight: Desert Camp, Merzouga
Wake up early to enjoy the magical desert sunrise over the dunes in Merzouga. This moment will leave you speechless as the desert transforms under the first rays of sunlight. After the sunrise, return to the camp for breakfast before setting off on a camel ride back to Merzouga.
Today, you have the option to explore the desert surroundings at your leisure. You can visit the town of Rissani, which is known for its traditional market (souq), where locals sell everything from spices to textiles and carpets. It’s a great place to experience authentic Moroccan culture.
Alternatively, you can take a 4×4 tour of the desert, exploring the vast sand dunes and nearby nomadic Berber villages. You’ll have the opportunity to learn about the traditional lifestyle of the Berber people.
In the afternoon, enjoy some leisure time in Merzouga, relax in your desert camp, or visit a nomadic family to learn about their lifestyle. Afterward, enjoy another traditional Moroccan dinner under the stars before spending the night in your desert camp.

Day 3:
Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dades Valley
Overnight: Hotel in Dades Valley
After breakfast, we leave Merzouga and head towards the Todra Gorges, a stunning canyon with towering cliffs that rise up to 300 meters. Take a short walk through the gorge to fully appreciate the grandeur of the landscape. The towering red rock walls create an impressive sight that is perfect for photography.
We then continue our journey to the Dades Valley, known for its dramatic landscapes, including the famous Monkey Fingers rock formations. This valley is one of Morocco’s most picturesque regions, with a landscape that blends mountains, palm groves, and ancient kasbahs. Enjoy a scenic drive through the valley and stop for photos along the way.
We check into a comfortable hotel or guesthouse in the Dades Valley for the night, where you can relax and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Day 3:
Dades Valley – Ait Benhaddou – Tizi n’Tichka Pass – Marrakech
End of the tour in Marrakech
After breakfast, we depart the Dades Valley and head towards Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This ancient mud-brick kasbah has served as the backdrop for many famous films, including Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Explore the kasbah and take in the panoramic views of the surrounding valley.
Next, we continue to Ouarzazate, known as the Gateway to the Sahara. You can visit the Taourirt Kasbah or take a tour of the Atlas Film Studios, where many Hollywood movies have been filmed.
In the afternoon, we journey through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka Pass, which offers stunning views of the valleys and mountain peaks. After a lunch break along the way, we continue towards Marrakech.
We will arrive in Marrakech by the late afternoon or evening, where the tour concludes. You’ll be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, leaving with incredible memories of Morocco’s unique desert landscapes and vibrant culture.
