6 Days Tour From Casablanca

Arrival in Casablanca, you will be assisted by a English speaking driver/guide to start your 6 days tour from Casablanca start  with a short tour of Casablanca, a crowded metropolis of Morocco and a place of strong contrasts. Here we will visit the most significant monuments, in particular the central market, the Habous district, the Royal Palace from outside, square Mohammed V, the residential Anfa area and the Hassan II Mosque (exterior), the largest mosque in Morocco. Then we leave for Rabat, an elegant capital located on the Atlantic coast. Visit the most significant monuments of the city, in particular the exterior of the Royal Palace, the Hssan Tower, the Mohammed V Mausoleum and the Kasbah of the Oudaya, a fortress strategically located on the ocean. Then, continue towards Meknes, an the fourth imperial city, surrounded by kilometers of imposing walls, in Meknes, we will visit the most significant monuments including the beautifully decorated Bab Mansour Gate, the water cistern, the remains of the Palace the mausoleum and the mosque dedicated to Moulay Ismail, ancient ruler of Meknes and the Kingdom of Morocco, as well as the Jewish quarter. Then we continue to Moulay Idriss and Volubilis, an ancient Roman city, marked a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Finally we will arrive in Fes where we will spend night in Riad in the old medina, Overnight stay with half board.

Breakfast at your riad, then our 6 days tour from Casablanca continues with the visit of Fes, the beating heart of the country. The charming medieval Medina hides in its labyrinthine streets ancient palaces and enchanting views that bear witness to the importance that the city has had over the centuries. Enjoy the Medina of Fes from overview, after visiting the ceramic workshops, we will head to visit the most significant monuments including; the Medersa Bouanania, considered the oldest University in the world and Medersa Attarine. The Nejjarine square dominated by one of the city’s most beautiful fountains, the Karaouine Mosque. Finally, visit the Fes El Jdid district before returning to the hotel, overnight stay with half board.

Meet your driver at your Riad after breakfast to start a new explorative journey towards the desert,  our first stop will be in Ifran, a beautiful ski resorts, known as the Switzerland of Morocco, not far we will continue to reach the cedar forest of Azrou, where we stop to meet and watch the Barbary monkeys climb the cedars trees,  and then continue our journey to the city of Midelt through the middle Atlas Mountains, to the city of Midelt, considered as the commercial center of the agricultural region and is famous as much, for the great cultivation of apples and weaving of local berber carpets. After lunch (not included) there, we will head towards the Sahara, enjoy the change of sceneries and landscapes as we go through the Arid land, we will stop at the ZIZ Valley for some memorable photos of the palm grove, before continue to reach our final destination the desert dunes of Merzouga via the village of Erfoud, arrival at Merzouga and overnight at a hotel at the foot of the dunes.

Breakfast at your Hotel and meet your driver/guide for a local experience to meet the locals and learn about the local culture,  the day will be dedicated to the discovery of the region of Merzouga with the Erg tour: the area where there are the natural fossils of the desert, in the village of Tissrdmin where many films were shot, the black desert with its volcanic stones and the visit to a nomad family, where we will learn about the life in the desert and enjoy a Berber hospitality with a cup of tea with prepared by the nomad family, Our journey continues then, towards the village of Khamlia, famous for its inhabitants from Black Africa and for their music Gnawa. Returning to Merzouga you can enjoy the peace of the desert in the hotel on the edge of the dunes, waiting for a new adventure tour through the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi. You will start a camel tour to stroll the Erg Chebbi dunes to enjoy a lifetime sunset over the golden sand dunes and spend a memorable romantic night under nomadic tent in a desert camp. Overnight in desert camp in HB. 

After admiring a beautiful sunrise on the dunes you will return to Merzouga village with dromedaries (or jeep), you will meet your driver/guide for a new journey in Morocco to explore more wonders, and we will leave the desert towards the Dades valley. Crossing the palm oasis and grove of Rissani, the old meeting point of Caravans, famous by its huge markets, where the merchants came from sub-Sahara and other coming from the west. Once in Tinghir, we will visit the spectacular Todra Gorge, admiring its high vertical walls give life to a unique landscape, continuation towards the Dades Gorges, and the valley of 1000 kasbahs to enjoy a unique sceneries, where the green of the vegetation and the ocher-colored rock are the protagonists, overnight in Riad of Kasbah with half board

Breakfast in riad, then start another new day full of adventure, history and culture, we will drive throught he raod of Thousand Kasbahs, to reach the Rose valley, famous by its annual festival, and for cultivating a unique species of rose with extraordinary fragrance, this green valley’s giving life to the arid desert. After road valley, we will head to Ouarzazate, enjoying the beautiful landscape, as you go through; it is changing little by little, from green to red ocher zones and palm groves. Continue through the route of the Kasbahs, in the south of the High Atlas, citadels built with crude earth (Mud) together with its walled towers and ornaments with geometric motifs. You should know that these Berber art monuments are unique in the world. They are located in a junction between the desert and the mountain, where the landscape is full of contrast between red and ocher colors, great luminosity and silence. Then we continue to reach the kasbah amridil. (The beautiful Kasbah Amridil lies in the Skoura oasis, inside a beautiful palm tree near the riverbed. Perfectly preserved and restored is perhaps the first Kasbah you should visit. There are numerous artifacts used in it when it was still inhabited). After this visit we will drive through Ouarzazate to discover one of the beautiful fortified villages in Morocco,  the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, one of the most amazing and well-preserved fortified cities in all of North Africa. The beauty of this place has attracted numerous film productions over the years. Lunch in local restaurant overlooking the Kasbah, and then we continued our trip crossing the high Atlas Mountains till we reach Marrakech.
