Day 1 Arrival in CASABLANCA Airport - Rabat
Arrival in Casablanca, you will be welcomed and assisted by a English speaking driver guide, who will be happy to give you all the explanations about your 7 days tour in Morocco from Casablanca, the tour will start with a short tour of Casablanca, a crowded metropolis of Morocco and a place of strong contrasts. Here we will visit the most significant monuments, in particular the central market, the Habous district, the Royal Palace (exterior) and the Hassan II Mosque (exterior), the largest mosque and only visited one in Morocco. After exploring Casablanca, we leave for Rabat, an elegant capital located on the Atlantic coast. Once in Rabat, we will visit the most significant monuments of the city, in particular the exterior of the Royal Palace, the Hassan Tour, the Mohammed V Mausoleum and the Kasbah of the Oudaya, a fortress strategically Kasbah located on the ocean. Overnight stay with half board.
Day 2 Rabat and overland to chefchaouen
After breakfast at your Riad, we will head to the blue city of chefchaouen, the pearl of the north, one of the best destinations in the world, which we will discover in the company of a local guide to make a complete visit to this charming mountain town. We will walk through its narrow blue streets, among its old houses painted deep blue. In addition we will contemplate its beautiful panoramic views. Overnight dinner and breakfast in a charming riad.
Day 3 Chefchaouen - Meknes - Volubilis- Fez
In the morning we will leave the beautiful blue city crossing the mountain villages of the Rif Mountains to reach one of the beautiful imperial cities, the city of Meknes, founded in the 17th century by the rulers Moulay Ismail, in Meknes we will explore the beautiful gate Bab Al Mansour, the Maulsoleum Moulay ismail, and, then, the royal stables, continue to Fes, we will stop for lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch, we will head towards Volubilis, the old roman capital, one of the wonders of Morocco and a world heritage site. Continue to reach Fes about two hours of travel, arrival at the majestic city of Fez, one of the four so-called imperial cities next to Marrakech, Meknes and Rabat. The city of Fez is considered as the religious and cultural center of the country, and is an essential stop all tours through Morocco. Check in to our charming riad in the heart of old Medina.
Day 4 Fes guided city tour
Breakfast in the riad, meet your local historian guide and your driver, to start an explorative journey in Fes, the beating heart of the country. The charming medieval Medina hides in its labyrinthine streets, ancient palaces and enchanting views that bear witness to the importance that the city has had over the centuries. You will explore and visit the most significant monuments including; the Medersa Bou Inania, considered the oldest University in the world and Medersa Attarine. The Nejjarine square dominated by one of the city's most beautiful fountains, the Karaouine Mosque. As well as, the ceramic pottery workshops finally, visit the Fes El Jdid district before returning to the hotel, overnight breakfast in your charming Riad.
Day 5 Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz valley – Merzouga Desert Dunes
Leave the imperial cities atmosphere to discover the beautiful desert sand dunes, your driver will meet you at your Riad after breakfast, to start a new amazing journey full of adventures, we will drive towards the desert and our first stop will be in Ifran, a beautiful ski resorts, known as the Switzerland of Morocco, not far we will continue to reach the cedar forest of Azrou, where we stop to meet and watch the Barbary monkeys climb the cedars trees, and then continue our journey to the city of Midelt through the middle Atlas Mountains, to the city of Midelt, considered as the commercial center of the agricultural region and is famous as much, for the great cultivation of apples and weaving of local berber carpets. After lunch (not included) there, we will head towards the Sahara, enjoy the change of sceneries and landscapes as we go through the Arid land, we will stop at the ZIZ Valley for some memorable photos of the palm grove, before continue to reach our final destination the desert dunes of Merzouga via the village of Erfoud, arrival at Merzouga and after a welcoming tea, you will start a life time experience adventure tour through the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, you will ride camel in a camel trek tour to stroll the Erg Chebbi dunes, to enjoy a lifetime sunset over the golden sand dunes, and then, spend a memorable romantic night under nomadic tent in a desert camp. Overnight in desert camp in HB.
Day 6 Merzouga Desert dunes – Rissani – Todra Gorge – Dades Gorge
Wake up early to admire a beautiful sunrise on the sand dunes, after assisting to sunrise, you will return to Merzouga village with dromedaries (or jeep), to the hotel where, you will meet your driver/guide for a new journey in southern Morocco to explore more wonders, and we will leave the desert towards the Dades valley. Crossing the palm oasis and grove of Rissani, the old meeting point of Caravans, famous by its huge markets, where the merchants came from sub-Sahara and other coming from the west. Once in Tinghir, we will visit the spectacular Todra Gorge, admiring its high vertical walls give life to a unique landscape, continuation towards the Dades Gorges, and the valley of 1000 kasbahs to enjoy a unique sceneries, where the green of the vegetation and the ocher-colored rock are the protagonists, overnight in Riad of Kasbah with half board.
Day 7 Dades Gorge - Roses valley - kasbah Amridil – Ouarzazate – Kasbah ait ben haddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
Enjoy a traditional Breakfast in Riad, then, get ready for a new day in Morocco in company of your driver/guide, a new adventures mixed of history and culture, we will drive through the road of thousand Kasbahs and green valleys, to reach the Rose valley, famous by its annual festival, and for cultivating a unique species of rose with extraordinary fragrance, this green valley’s giving life to the arid desert. After visiting a cooperative in the valley (optional), we will head to Ouarzazate, enjoying the beautiful landscape, as you go through; it is changing little by little, from green to red ocher zones and palm groves. Continue through the route of the Kasbahs, in the south of the High Atlas, citadels built with crude earth (Mud) together with its walled towers and ornaments with geometric motifs. You should know that these Berber art monuments are unique in the world. They are located in a junction between the desert and the mountain, where the landscape is full of contrast between red and ocher colors, great luminosity and silence. Then we continue to reach the kasbah amridil. (The beautiful Kasbah Amridil lies in the Skoura oasis, inside a beautiful palm trees near the riverbed. Perfectly preserved and restored is perhaps the first Kasbah you should visit. There are numerous artifacts used in it when it was still inhabited). After this visit we will drive through Ouarzazate to discover one of the beautiful fortified villages in Morocco, the Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, one of the most amazing and well-preserved fortified cities in all of North Africa. The beauty of this place has attracted numerous film productions over the years. Lunch in local restaurant overlooking the Kasbah, and then we continued our trip crossing the high Atlas Mountains enjoy a beautiful Berber villages settled in the foothills of the huge mountains, until we reach Marrakech.
