Marrakech To Fes 4 Days Desert Tour:
The Atlas and the doors of the desert are the habitats of the two most influential ethnic groups in the country. Morocco is a place of magnificent landscapes, of endless culture, of great historical legacy, of traditions, of gastronomy and also of ethnic differences. This is the objective of the trip to Morocco of Far Lands, to know these two groups.
In the area of the Atlas, we will live with the Berbers, and we will pass through their villages following the tracks not traveled by tourism or the usual means of communication. This fact keeps them in conditions of purity and abandonment at the same time. Sleeping some night in their homes will be the best way to know their reality.
We will continue our way to the south, in the area of the desert and the Kasbah, where we will get in touch with the Tuaregs, the people with the penetrating gaze, the mystery of their legendary caravans. We will be with them in the middle of a landscape of palm groves and oases, in addition to their seas of dunes.

ITINERARY
Day 1 Marrakech – Hight Atlas Mountains- Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Dades Gorge
Meet your driver/guide at your hotel after breakfast and start your journey full of adventure towards Dades Valley. Travel through the scenery High atlas crossing one of the highest roads in North Africa, one in Tichka pass we will stop for photos. And then, our next stop will be at the fortified village of Aït Ben Haddou and its surroundings, a splendid sand castle set in a field of almond trees; so beautiful fortified village, marked as world heritage by Unesco Since 1987, the site become the scenery of many famous films such as “Lawrence of Arabia” and “Games of Throne.” The Ksar, which means fortified stronghold, it is the only ksar showing intact the architecture of southern Morocco. After lunch in local restaurant, we will continue towards the palm grove of Skoura, where will stop for photos admiring a 17th century Kasbah, continue towards the abrupt and intimidating landscape of the Dades Gorges, formed by a group of rock formations and ravines. Arrival at the accommodation in Dades and distribution of the rooms. Dinner and accommodation.
Day 2 Dades Gorge – Todra Valley – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga
Breakfast, and then, time to explore the great canyon forming the Gorges of Dades, after that, we will drive towards Merzouga. During the trip, we will see the Palm oasis and the imposing geographical formation of the Todra Gorges, a favorite place for lovers of climbing. Continue to reach the village of Tinjdad, where we will stop for lunch, then we will continue our explorative journey to reach the village of Merzouga, near the great dunes you will be welcomed by a cup of mint tea, before starting a new adventure on camels, you will go in caravan of camels to admire a lifetime beautiful sunset over the golden dunes and spend an overnight in desert camp under nomadic tents in the middle of Erg Chebbi dunes. Dinner and accommodation in tents or under starry sky.
Day 3 Merzouga – A Tour Of Erg Chebbi – Tissrdmin – The Village Of Khamlia
After admiring a beautiful sunrise on the dunes, you will return to Merzouga with dromedaries (or jeep), and you can have breakfast and a shower (if you book a luxury desert tour you will spend a night in luxury desert camp and you have dinner, breakfast and shower in your tent). Then, a full day will be dedicated to the discovery of the region of Merzouga with the Erg tour: we will explore the natural fossils of the desert, the village of Tissrdmin where many films were shooting the black desert with its volcanic stones including a visit to a nomad family. We will then visit the town of Khamlia, famous for its inhabitants from Black Africa, we will enjoy a moments listening to their music Gnawa. Returning to Merzouga, you can enjoy the peace of the desert in the hotel on the edge of the dunes. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 4 Merzouga Desert Dunes – Ziz Valley – Monkey Area – Ifrane – Fes
After breakfast and a shower, meet your driver/guide to start your last day journey full of adventures, history and culture. Drive towards Fes, the first Moroccan imperial city, enjoying the change of sceneries before reaching a luxuriant palm grove hides the patches of cultivated land near the Ziz River, while at the horizon there are impressive dunes that are tinged with orange when the sun goes down. Then we continue towards Fes on the way we will appreciate enchanting various landscapes along a mountain road, we reach Azrou, where we will stop to meet the wild Barbary monkeys, before heading to Ifrane, a delightful place characterized by an Afro-alpine climate; after a break at Ifran, we will continue to reach Fes, where our Marrakech to Fes 4 Days Desert Tour end.
