Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Tizi n’Tichka Pass – Ait Benhaddou Kasbah – Skoura Oasis – Dades Valley
After breakfast, we depart from Marrakech, heading toward the High Atlas Mountains. We stop at the Tizi n’Tichka Pass for incredible views of the valleys and the rugged mountain terrain. Continue to the UNESCO-listed Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, a stunning mud-brick village that has been featured in many films such as Gladiator and Game of Thrones. After visiting Ait Benhaddou, we drive through the Skoura Oasis, where palm groves and ancient kasbahs line the roads. In the late afternoon, we arrive in the Dades Valley and check into your hotel for the night. Dinner will be served at the hotel, and you can relax after your journey.
Day 2: Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga – Camel Ride – Sunset in Erg Chebbi Dunes – Desert Camp
After breakfast, we head to the Todra Gorge, a narrow canyon with towering rock walls. You can take a short walk through the gorge to enjoy the dramatic scenery. We then drive through Erfoud, known for its fossils, and continue on to Merzouga, the gateway to the Sahara Desert. Upon arrival, you will experience a camel ride into the Erg Chebbi dunes, where you can witness a magical desert sunset. Afterward, you’ll arrive at a traditional desert camp, where you’ll enjoy a delicious dinner under the stars. Spend the night in the camp, immersing yourself in the tranquility of the desert.
Day 3: Merzouga – Rissani Market – Camel Ride – Visit Khamlia – Merzouga
We begin the day early with a sunrise camel ride in the dunes, capturing the magical moment as the desert landscape is bathed in golden light. After breakfast at the camp, we return to Merzouga. Later, we visit Rissani, a historic town known for its bustling traditional market, where you can experience the local culture and buy souvenirs. Afterward, we visit Khamlia, a small village famous for its Gnawa music and the warm hospitality of the locals. You will return to Merzouga for a relaxing evening. Dinner and overnight in Merzouga.
Day 4: Merzouga – Alnif – Tazarine – Ouarzazate
After breakfast, we depart Merzouga and drive through the desert landscapes of Alnif and Tazarine. The journey will take us through beautiful stretches of desert and small Berber villages, giving you a glimpse of authentic life in this region. We arrive in Ouarzazate in the late afternoon, known as the "Gateway to the Sahara." Check-in to your hotel and enjoy dinner. The evening is yours to relax and reflect on the journey through the desert.
Day 5: Ouarzazate – Taourirt Kasbah – Tizi n’Tichka Pass – Marrakech
After breakfast, we visit the Taourirt Kasbah, one of the most impressive kasbahs in the region, known for its intricate architecture. We will also explore the Atlas Film Studios, where many Hollywood movies have been filmed. In the afternoon, we drive back towards Marrakech, passing through the scenic Tizi n’Tichka Pass once more, with more stunning views of the High Atlas Mountains. We will stop for lunch on the way, arriving back in Marrakech by the late afternoon to conclude the tour.
